Please introduce yourself briefly.
Hello, my name is Julia, I live in Giessen and have been an avid reader since I can remember. For many years I’ve been keeping a book blog and currently I’m taking my first steps as an aspiring author. I also love music and started playing the harp 1.5 years ago. Professionally, I work in environmental regulation.
Why are you a part of MetropolCon?
I think the concept is just totally great, the versatility, the colorful mix! Who wouldn’t want to be part of that?

At the bar, exhausted but happy.
What do you wish for the future of fantasy and science fiction, especially in Germany?
The courage to cover a wide variety of topics, greater visibility, and just continue to have a great community that keeps growing.
Best fictional sidekick of all time?
Wilma, a little Kiwi in Thomas Thiemeyer’s Chroniken der Weltensucher (German series, title translates as Chronicles of the World Seekers).

Honestly? I’m too chicken for that. There are just too many dangers in most worlds for me!
