Attending a con is not financially feasible for everyone, especially when travel, accommodation, and food costs are added to the membership fee.

When people buy their membership, they can add a donation for sponsoring memberships. In this way, they help create a fund for the attendance of others for whom the total costs are prohibitive. These donations allow us to issue complimentary memberships for marginalized or socially disadvantaged people. A heartfelt THANK YOU to the generous members who’ve already put in donations! 

You can now apply for a sponsored membership by writing an email to vorstand@metropolcon.eu. Please tell us briefly why you are applying. We will keep your application confidential and won’t disclose the recipients by name, unless they want to. Please only apply if the cost is a significant barrier for you. We will give priority to people from traditionally underrepresented groups.
