🇩🇪 Writer of “Titans Kinder”
Aiki studied media communication in Stirling, London, Bremen and did research on youth culture and gaming. Today Aiki lives in science fiction and in Hamburg. As an author, Aiki explores the boundaries of our relationships and human identity and enjoys writing, thinking and discussing queer issues. In addition to novels, Aiki publishes essays and short stories, e.g. on Tor Online, in Exodus, Fantastic!, Queer*Welten, Future Fiction Magazine and c`t Magazine for Computer Technology. Three short stories by Aiki were shortlisted for the 2022 Kurd Laßwitz Prize and the German Science Fiction Prize. Aiki won both prizes with the story “Utopie27”. Together with Uli Bendick and Mario Franke, Aiki Mira published the anthology “Am Anfang war das Bild”, which was also nominated for the Kurd Laßwitz Prize 2022 and took second place.
