🇩🇪 Science Fiction Expert and Fan
Wolfgang is an expert on space, spaceflight, and science fiction. Together with Ralf Neukirchen and Mario Franke he designed the section “Science Fiction in the GDR” for the exhibition “Leseland DDR”, which we also present at MetropolCon. For this work, the three will be awarded the Kurd Laßwitz Prize. The award ceremony will take place on Friday, May 19, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the Kuppelhalle.
In addition, Wolfgang will bring his amazing picture slides on “The Beauty of the Universe”, which will be shown as a loop several times in the cinema room (Kino), accompanied by music by Hardy Kettlitz. Wolfgang will give a short introduction about the origin of the pictures on Thursday at 2:15 pm, on Friday at 3:15 pm, and on Saturday at 2 pm, and then invite you to let the beauty of the universe fascinate and soothe you.
